About Tashua Farm
Fairfield County Horse Stable
Tashua Farm is located in Trumbull, a southwestern Connecticut town. Steeped in history, this Fairfield County stable has been in operation as a horse stable since the early 1930s. The Fisher Family has been training hunter and jumper horses and ponies for the show ring upon this private property since 1976. Over the years, our equines have had numerous champions and national accolades awarded and brought back to this quaint charming stable. Today, its' current owners Richard and Suzanne Fisher Kuroghlian continue to carry out the tradition of training and cultivating top quality horse show champions.
At Tashua Farm, "personalization" is our middle name. It is our belief that the correct match of horse and rider is what produces positive and productive results. With proper training, this prior formula equates Winning Ways!
In the photo (above right), Suzanne Fisher awards the 2003 Ann Fisher Memorial Pony Sportsmanship Trophy to Sarah Pankosky at the Ox Ridge Charity Horse Show. This perpetual trophy is named for Suzanne's mother who was well known throughout the equine community. Looking on are Robin Greenwood and the event Ring Master.
In the fall of 2007, Tashua Farm welcomed Kate Reynolds as barn manager.
