Suzanne Fisher

2003 Ann Fisher Memorial Pony Sportsmanship Trophy

Owner/Manager of Tashua Farm

Suzanne Fisher is a fourth generation horse-woman. She spent her younger years riding and showing numerous ponies to state and national titles. She also piloted ponies for her mothers' clients and it was here she knew she wanted to be professional one day. Under the fine tutelage of Robin Greenwood, she further developed her skills upon both horses and ponies. Suzanne qualified three years in a row for all three Equitation Finals and had the fine privilege of training along with Frank Madden and Bill Cooney (Beacon Hill Show Stables) for two years. Having qualifying wins, from Wellington to the Hampton Classic, aboard the 1986 ASPCA Maclay Finals Champion "Keep the Change" (mount for Scott Hofstetter) she concluded her junior years.

In 1988 Suzanne became a professional and aided her mother with the family business while attending Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. It was here she learned leadership with people (not just in the show ring). She was Class Vice President for 2 yrs, a Presidential Intern, and developed the Intercollegiate Riding Team for SHU. Upon graduating in 1993, cum laude, with a B.A. degree in Business and Marketing she began to invest herself full-time to the business.

Today, Suzanne and her husband Richard Kuroghlian live at Tashua Farm and oversee the daily training and operations of the business. It is there they carry on the tradition of recognizing, training/showing, and selling quality horses and ponies.
